Mel Fugate

MEL FUGATE is a professor of management in the college of business at Mississippi State University. He has over twenty years of teaching experience and has won seven teaching awards across programs (undergraduate and MBA). His teaching, research, and consulting interests span many topics: ethics and leadership, organizational behavior, leadership, management, strategic human capital, organizational culture, leading and managing change, and performance management. His experience includes various formats of online teaching, crosses all levels and programs (PhD, executive, masters, and undergraduate), and comprises positions in the United States, France, and Australia. Prior to Mississippi State, he served on the faculties of American University, University of South Australia, Southern Methodist University, EM-Lyon School of Management, and Tulane University. His PhD is in management from Arizona State University, and undergraduate degree is in engineering and business from Michigan State University.
